About the School //

Tring Park is one of a tiny handful of schools in the UK that stand at the forefront of specialist artistic education.

The School is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school with a maximum of 300 pupils between the ages of 8-19. Entry to the School is by audition only. Scholarships are available for Dance under the DCSF's Music and Dance Scheme and the Dance and Drama Awards. Substantial school scholarships are available for Musical Theatre and Drama.

We are housed in a former Rothschild family mansion situated in 17 acres of beautiful grounds in Tring, Hertfordshire, only 33 miles from Central London, with convenient access from nearby motorways. The School provides accommodation for over 200 boarders and up to 100 day pupils.

We have a purpose-built theatre seating 176 pax. We have 8 large dance studios, 3 drama rehearsal rooms, 8 music rooms, plus music technology and music composition rooms. We also have a digital video-editing suite. Sporting activity takes place in the extensive grounds and we also use the local facilities in Tring, including a swimming pool.

The Academic teaching block comprises 2, newly refurbished science classrooms, a library, an IT teaching room as well as conventional classrooms.
