In the Junior School at Key Stage 3 pupils broadly follow the National Curriculum in:
Lessons in the Junior School are delivered by specialist subject teachers and pupils are examined twice yearly - in January and in the Summer Term.
Each weekday afternoon there is a supervised prep session for Junior pupils and there is an additional prep session on Saturday mornings. Pupils have access to school computers and to the library.
Learning Support is provided for pupils who require extra help. Learning Support assistants are present in some lessons and there is always a support assistant available during weekday prep. Specialist Learning Support teachers give private lessons, which are rotated on the school timetable.
Each year group has an opportunity to take part in educational visits, which enhance the delivery of the curriculum.
