The Stage Features Tring Park //

BBC

Welcome to the June E-letter from Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Our pupils continue to be exceptionally busy and in addition to all these activities our senior male dancers have just returned from Gothenburg where they have performed alongside dancers from the Swedish Ballet School in Graduation Ball. New in this edition is a mini-feature on a former Tring Park pupil. Former pupils who would like to feature in future E-letters should contact me with career updates and photos.

Best wishes

‘Waiting For Godot’ //

Tring Park’s new-look Music Showcase took place at the beginning of term; a great opportunity to see pupils performing – often away from their principal vocation.

The public was seated in cabaret style, challenging pre-conceptions about how audiences listen to classical music whilst providing a great atmosphere for the non-classical 2nd half.

For photographs of the evening follow this link and use ‘Classical’ as the log-in.

Move It! 2009

1st Form pupil Richard Linnell was one of two 11-year olds who beat around 200 other hopefuls to join two other boys alternating in the role of ‘Boy’ in Beckett’s famous play.

Richard is performing at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket with Sir Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Simon Callow and Ronald Pickup.
