Catering

The School boasts a large, well-equipped dining room and all meals are prepared on site. Each child is sensitively monitored and special dietary requirements are catered for. As well as the main meals of breakfast, lunch and supper, all pupils break for tea in the dining room in the middle of their afternoon programme.

For breakfast we have a wide selection of cereals as well as fresh fruit, fruit juice and ample supplies of toast and hot drinks.  On selected Sundays we also have school brunch, when pupils are treated to a full cooked English breakfast and pastries.

For lunch we have a choice of three hot meals including a vegetarian option.  Freshly made soup is also on offer as well as a fresh salad bar, a selection of fruit and, of course, a proper pudding!

For supper pupils have a choice of three hot meals including a vegetarian option.  We also have a fresh salad bar available and a light pudding such as fruit salad or yoghurt.

In addition to this we also have themed menu days at school in order to introduce foods from around the world or sometimes just for fun like the hugely popular Pirate Week!

Health and Nutrition

Recently our catering company has become involved in creating a Personal, Social and Health Education programme (PSHE), which develops practical skills and examines nutrition issues.
