Each child has a personal tutor, a member of the teaching staff who oversees their time at School. All pupils, day and boarding, are under the care of resident houseparents who are responsible for their pastoral care - everything from supervising mealtimes to liaising with parents about issues or forthcoming events. The School prefects are all trained to support pupils, and each new child is given a pupil mentor.
