September Celebrations

September has been a month of celebrations starting with the return of our pupils and seeing how well they have re-engaged and settled into school.

Students from 1st to 3rd Form were given the opportunity during their English lessons to write a poem from the perspective of someone or something else for the Young Writer's Through Their Eyes competition. There were many entries and the poems were written in a variety of forms demonstrating creativity and empathy. A number of Tring Park students were successful and will have their poems published.

The voices of two Tring Park graduates Joshua Shea and Lydia Singer, alongside the Tring Park 16 can be heard on a new charity single released at the beginning of the month.  The song, featured in our Virtual Founders Day was written by Joshua Shea, Liz Shea and playwright Karen Forbes-Ewin.  Earlier this week Lydia and Josh were interviewed on BBC 3 Counties Radio's Evening Show.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoobYK5v28o

Four Tring Park alumni have been named as leading cast members in the West End premiere of Frozen.  Hannah Fairclough, Matt Gillett, Joe Griffiths-Brown and Jake Lawrence Small will be part of the first cast of Frozen at Theatre Royal Drury Lane from April 2021.
