Tring Park student exhibits at RA Young Artists' Summer Show 2020

Congratulations to Tring Park student, James Platts who had his artwork selected for the Royal Academy Young Artists' Summer Show 2020 (see artwork below).

Inspired by the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition, the Young Artists’ Summer Show exhibits work by school students from across the UK.  More than 17,500 submissions were received from which the panel of judges picked just 392 artworks.  James’ piece titled ‘Just what is it that makes today's home so different, so appealing?’, inspired by the work of Richard Hamilton is available to view online and at the on-site exhibition from 19 October to 22 November 2020.

On hearing that his artwork was selected James said "I am excited, honoured and grateful to have this opportunity".  James will visit the exhibition in November to view his work.
