Jodie Blemings has choreographed for Tring Park School, Rambert School, Bodywork Company, BCYDC and So You Think You Can Dance, Australia collaborating with Sarah Boulter.
Since then Jodie has worked on numerous productions at The Royal Opera House and with English National Opera including, Macbeth, Midsummer Marriage, Faust and Mark Morris's Nixon In China.
Jodie started his training with the Berkshire County Youth Dance Company before joining the Rambert School at the age of 16. He then went on to dance in Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake, Notre Dame de Paris (Dominion Theatre, Italian tour) and Robert North's The Snowman in the role of Jack Frost.
Under the watchful eye of his mentor Matthew Bourne, Drew McOnie has just launched The McOnie Company of which he is Artistic Director.
Drew McOnie, an alumni of Tring Park, is fast becoming one of Britain’s most sought after emerging Choreographers. Known for his passionate and versatile dance vocabulary, McOnie is being hailed as ‘The next big thing in Musical Theatre Choreography and the name to look out for’ in the London and National Press.
His work as a freelance Choreographer and Dance Director spans across Film, TV and Theatre throughout the UK and Europe. His most recent credits include West Side Story (National Youth Music Theatre), British Style (Collaboration with Matthew Bourne for the BBC, Buckingham Palace), James and the Giant Peach (UK Tour) and 13 (Apollo Theatre, London.) Drew’s upcoming productions include a brand new production of Chicago at Leicester Curve Theatre, where he has also just been made an Associate Artist and Out of Step, an exciting new dance-based feature film.
