The Acting Course are delighted to present Sense and Sensibility as part of the contemporary theatre festival 2023.
Kate Hamill’s playful adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel follows the fortunes and misfortunes of the Dashwood sisters – sensible Elinor and the highly sensitive Marianne – after their father’s death leaves them financially destitute and socially vulnerable. SENSE AND SENSIBILITY examines our reactions, both reasonable and ridiculous, to societal pressures in late 18th Century England.
This performance will be showing on the 1st March at 7:30pm in the Markova Theatre at Tring Park School. The running time is approximately 140 minutes including a 20 minute interval. This performance may include strobe lighting and haze smoke.
