3rd Form Reflect on Tring Park

As we say hello and goodbye to the first Exeat of the school year, three 3rd Form pupils reflect on their first few weeks at Tring Park:

My name is Hannah Kremer and I am currently a boarding student in 3rd form studying the Junior Dance course. I am an international student from Singapore. The first three weeks of my time here do far have been extremely enjoyable, nicely challenging and very loving.

As a boarder, arriving at Tring Park was very nerve-racking for the fact that I was stepping into a new environment and meeting new people, but as soon as I walked through the doors, I was warmly welcomed by the prefects and comfort washed over me like a wave. The first three weeks of my life here at Tring Park have been met with nothing but understanding from the tutors to the pupils and especially the house parents.  Meeting all our needs and making us feel as comfortable as possible was definitely covered.

Tring Park is like a big family. My first impressions of the school were absolutely amazing and I am already excited for the future of my school life here; Tring Park helps you be the best you can be in both the vocational and academic aspects. I will continue to work hard and immerse myself into the number of opportunities that you get to experience at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Hello! My name is Claudia and I come from a village called North Ferriby in East Yorkshire and I just recently joined Tring Park in September on the dance course(3rd form). My first three weeks at Tring have been phenomenal. When I arrived I was given a warm welcome by all staff and pupils, I was shown my dorm and I settled in. At first I was quite nervous and unsure about boarding but everyone is so supportive and they made it feel like home.

The vocational lessons are of a very high standard and the academics accommodate for all different levels. Tring Park also offers many different opportunities such as the Nutcracker, the choreography competition and YDS (young dancers show) which I am looking forward to performing in. I am really enjoying my time here at Tring and I’m sure I will continue to in the future.

Hi, my name is Eva Young I am come from Bedfordshire. I joined Tring Park three weeks ago as a boarder and these last few weeks have been amazing.  When I first got here I was do nervous about boarding but it was fine because all the girls and staff were there to help me. After a couple of days it felt like a home away from home with a HUGE family. Coming into boarding was so scary, but with so many people around me it was easy to forget about it.

I am currently on the TA course and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The Dance classes are excellent and the singing and drama classes are something that I look forward to . I am especially looking forward to performing in the Christmas Festival. I have enjoyed my time here at this school so far and I am looking forward to many opportunities to come.
