Art & Photography in London
Art and photography students enjoyed a cultural visit to London's Tate Modern.
They visited the permanent galleries as well as 'Soul of a Nation' - an exhibition of work made by black artists working in America during the Civil Rights Movement. Photography students had a wide choice of stimulus to shoot: from Neoclassical and Victorian architecture to urban contemporary spaces, balconies and 360 degree views of the City on level 10 of the Switch House, the latest addition to the Tate Modern.
Such experiences are invaluable for students in the development of their own work as well as their research on various genres.
