That Tring Thing launches a new season.
Join us on Sunday evening 13 October at the audience-friendly earlier time of 6.30pm when the new season of That Tring Thing launches with West End Star Rachel Tucker (Elphaba in Wicked) joins students and alumni for what promises to be a great evening of cabaret and musical theatre. Rachel will be joined by current students Alex McGetrick and Jacob Edwards, winner and finalist, respectively, of this year's Tring Park Musical Theatre Cup.
Rachel is currently starring in Broadway and London in the four-time award winning Olivier show Come from Away as Captain Beverley Bass at the Phoenix Theatre. Featuring some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs from a diverse back catalogue including Wicked, The Last Ship, old classics, and new songs Rachel brings her soaring vocals, impassioned performances and caustic wit to share with you in the intimate setting of The Pheasantry for one night only!
“She’s funny, charming, relaxed and listening to that voice…is like, well not much else. Her extraordinarily powerful lungs can boom through the songs, but they can bring them right back in, making them quiet, emotional and heartbreaking.”
