Tring Park Associates
The Tring Park Associate Programme is available to children and young people from 3 - 19 years of age and offers not only dance - ballet, pointe work, contemporary, jazz, street dance, modern, tap and musical theatre dance along with acting, and performance singing.
Classes run daily Monday to Friday after school hours and all day Saturday during term time. They are held in the Park Studios in the grounds of Tring Park School and at nearby Victoria Hall. Entry from age 3 to 8 years is without audition with three auditions a year held for students from 9 - 19. Drama and Singing classes are from age 9 upwards.
Dance Curriculum
TPA has a clear mission and is committed to providing an excellent standard of teaching via highly trained and professional teachers within excellent facilities and resources.
As well as RAD syllabus classes at all levels we also offer non-syllabus classes. There are also currently pointe work classes for students who have reached the appropriate age and standard. Baby Ballet and the junior levels are available twice a week.
Students studying Tap and Modern are entered for exams within the ISTD syllabus, whilst contemporary, jazz, street jazz and stretch classes do not follow a set syllabus.
Performing Arts and Singing
Students explore many aspects of drama and singing. Older students cover scripted work and play building which incorporates musical theatre skills. Singing classes are tailored to group sizes and may include choral, ensemble and group singing. The TPA singing and drama classes offer students the opportunity to explore many aspects of both genres in a challenging and supportive environment.
