Pupils are given rigorous training in the performing arts, combined with an extensive academic programme of study.

Structure

At Tring Park School pupils are taught in small classes by well-qualified, highly experienced teachers. This ensures that every pupil is given the best possible chance to attain his or her maximum potential in a private school setting.

Middle School academic lessons take place from 8.30am to 12.55pm each weekday morning. Vocational classes take place from 1.45pm to 6.30pm each weekday afternoon.

Vocational Curriculum

In Middle School pupils have the option to audition for either the Middle School Dance or the Performance Foundation Course, progressing to the Sixth Form Dance, Commercial Music, Musical Theatre or Acting Course once they reach Sixth Form.

Academic Curriculum

In the Middle School, compulsory GCSE subjects are English language, English literature, maths, science (double or triple award) and a modern foreign language (French or Spanish). Students on the Performance Foundation Course complete GCSE drama as part of their vocational timetable. Pupils also choose three additional subjects from the following options: drama, geography, religious studies, art, history, ICT and music.
