Our Musical Theatre course at Tring Park School boasts an illustrious alumni appearing in theatre, TV and film and secures degree course places for a high percentage of graduates.
Thorough core training, and the programme of performances, workshops and master classes reflect the multifaceted nature of professional musical theatre.
The curriculum is delivered by musical theatre practitioners with direct, recent or current experience and is supported by visiting artists from a variety of sources within professional musical theatre.
Course Summary
Throughout the course students are afforded a plethora of opportunities to develop their skills in all areas of musical theatre, create a thorough portfolio and gain experience and appropriate exposure through diverse performance platforms.
In singing classes students are encouraged to develop a strong and secure technique with emphasis on application through performance, repertoire and portfolio work, while in dance emphasis is on versatility, with core training in jazz, ballet and tap. Acting classes are based around both script and improvisation work with a strong focus on confidence, character and dialect.

In the Sixth Form, depending on academic ability, students can choose to study up to a maximum of four Advanced Level qualifications.
