On Wednesday the 29th April, a group of our Year 7 and Year 8 students took part in the national UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge.

This competition is a series of questions that encourage mathematical reasoning and problem-solving, designed to make students think deeply about Maths in unfamiliar contexts. We are delighted to report that our students performed exceptionally well, achieving an impressive set of results: 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze Award.

A special congratulations goes to Henry, whose outstanding score has earned him a place in the follow-on Junior Kangaroo round taking place in June. We are incredibly proud of all our award winners and of every student who took part in the competition.
