More Information

Candidates entering Year 7 and above are required to attend an entrance audition to join Tring Park School. Auditions take place between between October and March and are for entry the following September.

We will allocate audition dates on a best fit basis. We will always try to accommodate any requests for specific dates, but unfortunately this may not always be possible.

Please note – later applications will be put on a waiting list once our published audition dates are full. Screening for auditions will be based solely on the applicant’s vocational experience and years of study. We are committed to equality and value diversity. We actively support practices that promote genuine equality of opportunity for all staff and young people.

Vocational Courses

Scholarship, MDS and DADA auditions

The school offers School Scholarships for the Performance Foundation, Musical Theatre, Acting and Commercial Music Courses and Music & Dance Scheme and Dance & Drama Awards for Dancers. If successful during the entrance audition, a student may be invited back for a school scholarship audition, where if successful, a scholarship of 10% of fees is awarded. An additional means tested bursary may also be given (household income threshold £100,000 per annum).

Music and Dance Scheme Scholarships are Government assisted places for talented classical dancers. The school normally has a small number of places to offer each year for pupils aged 11 or above.

We also offer a number of Dance and Drama Awards each year for pupils aged 16 going into Year 12.
