Our balanced curriculum sets us apart from other schools and provides pupils with a well-rounded education, enabling them to achieve high academic excellence and versatility as a performer.
Pupils receive rigorous training in the performing arts, which is combined with an extensive academic programme of study. This begins with a broad vocational training in Tring Park Prep. At age 11 pupils can specialise in either Dance or Performance Foundation, with the option to focus on Dance, Commercial Music, Musical Theatre or Acting at Sixth Form level.

How to apply
Candidates entering Year 7 and above are required to attend an entrance audition. Year 3 to 6 are invited to an informal assessment day.

We would love to welcome you to Tring Park School for the Performing Arts! Head over to our events page to book your slot on one of our upcoming Open Days where you’ll have a chance to meet staff and students, tour the school grounds and ask any questions you may have.

Step 2 – The Application
It’s time to submit your application. Use the form below to apply to one of our vocational courses, or the second form to apply to more than one.
Step 3 – The Audition
We will allocate an audition date on a first-come, first-served basis. We will always try to accommodate any requests for specific dates, but unfortunately this may not always be possible.
Please note – later applications will be put on a waiting list once our published audition dates are full. Screening for auditions will be based solely on the applicant’s vocational experience and years of study. For the Dance Course, it will also be based on physique. Step 4 – The Decision
Following the entrance audition you will be advised whether or not your child has been successful for a place at the school and, if suitable, they will be invited back to the final audition for a School Scholarship, a Music and Dance Scheme Award or a Dance and Drama Award (DaDA).
International Applicants
The school is currently a registered UK Boarder
Agency sponsor.
Parents must inform the school at the time of application if their son/daughter requires sponsorship from the school in order to obtain a visa to study at the school.
Where a pupil is sponsored by the school for immigration purposes the parents will permit the school to take and retain copies of the pupil’s passport and visa. For the purposes of compliance with our responsibilities as a licensed sponsor, we will share this information with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) and the Home Office. It shall be the parents’ responsibility at all times to ensure that their son/daughter has appropriate immigration to reside in the UK and to study at this school.
