Applying to Study at Tring Park School
All candidates are required to attend an entrance audition for the school. These are held in the Autumn and Spring Term each year. Suitability for a place is determined on talent and potential shown at the time of audition.
Screening and Audition Process
You are required to submit an email containing the screening information for the course for which you wish to apply. The form below advises of the email addresses to send the Screening Information form to. If successful you will be sent an email which includes a link to our online application form for the entrance audition. The form will take you through the process including our online payment system for the non-refundable audition fee of £45 per course.
Please downlad this form and follow the instructions - Screening Information Form
Tring Park School will allocate your application to an appropriate audition date on a first-come, first-served basis. We will always try to accommodate any requests for specific dates, but for logistical reasons this may not always be possible. Applications received once our published audition dates are full will be put on a waiting list. Screening for auditions will be based solely on the applicant’s vocational experience and years of study. For the Dance Course, it will also be based on physique. Tring Park School is committed to equality. It values diversity and actively supports practices that promote genuine equality of opportunity for all staff and young people.

Following the entrance audition you will be advised whether or not your son/daughter has been successful for a place at the school and, if suitable, they will be invited back to the final audition for a School Scholarship, a Music and Dance Scheme Award or a Dance and Drama Award (DaDA). If a parent indicates on the Application Form that they are able to pay the fees this does not preclude their son/daughter being considered for funding.
- Final auditions take place in February or March of each year and successful candidates are offered places to start in the following September.
- It may be possible to make alternative audition arrangements for overseas applicants.
- Given the high number of candidates auditioned, and in line with the profession, we are unable to provide audition feedback.
